Words | The Art of the Novella

A nicely-designed book cover is just as important to me as the contents of the book itself. No judgment. So when I happened upon a line of novellas from Brooklyn-based publisher Melville House, with their minimalistic and Pantone-esque covers, I was thrilled. What tickles me even more is their inclusion of five works, written by different authors, with the same title (“The Duel”). And it comforts me to see writers whose names I recognize underneath titles of which I never knew existed. While I consider the entire collection an investment and worth purchasing, Melville House will also send you two books a month. If you don’t fancy surprises, the publishing house lists which two books will be sent to you.
